  1. I read the book, Holes. Most people read this book, it's about a boy named Stanley Yelnats who goes to a camp in Texas. He starts to dig holes he begins to know that they are digging holes for a reason, and I won't spoil the book.

  4. Rylee - have you seen the movie and read the book? Which did you think was better and why? If you haven't seen the movie I recommend you seeing it, so you can compare your visualizations with what the director saw as well.

  5. I liked the book better. I think that is because I enjoy to read the book first and then watch the movie. When reading the book you find more information and that is what I enjoy figuring out the most.

  8. I was waiting for that question. I personally liked the book. I enjoyed the movie - I love ALL movies but I think that often with movies, parts of the book that painted vivid pictures for me get left out or created differently than my opinion so it can be hard for me to see their scene as accurate.

  10. I agree, it is like I don't get what I want from the movie and I become disappointed

  11. Did you think the movie acuratly portrayed the book

  12. Sometimes and sometimes not. My visualization of Stanley was quite different than what was casted as Stanley. Also, how I personally saw Green Lake looking like, wasn't what it turned out to be in the movie. So I was a touch disappointed.

  14. In tyhr movie, I imagined that Stanley would look different also. I imagined him looking like he was tired more of the time and I expected them to look dirtier because they only get short showers. In my mind I also thought the warden would look different. I expected a rougher look for her.
