Ihave read a book called the stepsisterthis book is about a girl named emily whose step-family moves in with her, her older sister and her mother. She ends up haveing to share her room with her stepsister, Jessie. Right when Jessie moves into her room bad things start to happen, things that were getting worse and worse... If you were Emily how would you deal with what was happening?
Well, first she randomly rips emily's teddy bears head off because she wants the bed near the window, and then the things that get worse and worse are things that seem like the step sister is trying to kill emily
Do you mean what dose Emily try to do to prevent this? Well in short she just sort of dogges everything that Jessie trys to do to her, although she did get pushed down the stairs and almost die at a concert.
Another book that i read was "The Scilence of the Lambs". This book Is about a woman who is trying to get into the FBI, her name is Clarice Starling. She is put on a case involving Buffulo Bill who uses peoples skins. She is put on to interview Hannibal Lector, a cannibal sociatrist ( sorry dont know how to spell that. What would you do if you were put on a case like that?
Another book I read was called Skinny: A novel. This book is about a girl named Melissa who is starting to go anorexic because she wants something to control between her dance, grades and boyfriend. How would you deal with the stress if you were in her situation?
I would try to find something HEALTHIER to control or stress over. This could be something like having my room clean (not saying that it is a mess or anything like that because I am the neatest person on Earth [ ;) ] and I would never have any mess anywhere) or I would take on a new hobby such as cooking. What would you do Christine?
To Emmas question I would probably turn to cooking as a hobby if I were in that situation but also because I dont see anything more likely for me, besides reading because reading is something that I feel that I can control and the reason that Melissa started her "dieting" was because that was something that SHE could control through out her un-controlable life ( I know I didn't mention that in my summery but I sorta forgot it :) sorry) And to Elizabeths queston I have seen the movie and I loved it! I thought it stayed very close to the book with only little things here and there, but I have to say i really enjoyed the book much better. It just gave alot more information than the movie did, but I have to say if I didn't see the movie first (which I'm sad to say that I did :( ) I would have never have been able to come up with a Hannibal Lector as disturbing charming and swave as the one portrayed by Anthony Hopkins in the movie.
Another book that I read was "Who Are You?" This book is about a girl named Kristi who, after being told by the police, finds out that a strange man who her family has no relation to, has been keeping a secret file on her scince she was born, from clippings in the newspaper to art awards. His name was Mr. Merson (I forget his first name) He was shot in the jaw during an attempted robbery and was sent to the hospital. Kristi goes to see him and saves him from another attempt on his life when someone tryed to suffocate him with a pillow. She finally got the chance to talk to Mr.Merson but he was not able to tell her the reason for the secret file. As other questions start to unravle themselves Kristi starts to question her place within her own family. If you were Kristi how would you react to being followed around and having pictures taken of you without your knowlege by some creepy old dude? Why would you react this way? Also scince Mr. Merson still had bandages on his face and could not talk, what other way do you think Kristi could have comunicated with him besides writing things down (Mr. Merson did show another way to Kristi, lets see if anyone can figure it out.)
